With the COVID-19 pandemic impacting many of us, Dr. Kuefner’s office remains open and wants to assure our patients that our office is taking precautions to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 above and beyond CDC guidelines. Our office has implemented the enhanced safety protocols below in an effort to ensure the health and safety of our staff and every patient who enters our facility.
- Our patients are allowed inside of the office, accompanying friends or family members are asked to remain in their vehicle.
- Upon entry, patients are requested to use hand sanitizer prior to placing a surgical mask on their face, which will be provided to patients. Surgical masks are worn by all staff members.
- We are following all CDC guidelines and protocols which include maintaining a social distance of 6 feet apart at all times with the exception of patient treatment.
- Temperatures are taken for all staff members and patients entering the office.
- Patient appointments are being metered so that no more than two patients are in the office at any given time.
- HEPA filter air filtration units are located in the waiting room and treatment rooms.
- All patient rooms and the waiting room are disinfected routinely throughout the day as are all door handles, faucet handles, and common surfaces.
- Routine UVC disinfection/sanitation procedures will soon be utilized in the waiting area and treatment rooms as an additional precaution along with the measures taken above.
